Republican Jackie Terribile is seeking reelection to South Carolina House District 66 in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. The state Election Commission lists Terribile and Democrat Heather Hart as the active candidates.

Experience

The Legislature’s biography identifies Terribile as a marketing consultant and 1997 University at Albany graduate. It lists her House committee assignment as Education and Public Works.

On her campaign website, she describes previous service on the State Board of Education and work as a Fort Mill substitute teacher.

Taxes and spending

In her campaign newsletter, Terribile says she opposed the state budget over overall spending and earmarks and opposed H.4216 over concerns about taxpayers facing increases. She favors reducing and ultimately eliminating the income tax.

She also highlights watercraft tax changes. State law schedules changes for 2027, including assessing a boat and its attached outboard motor as one unit.

Education and community issues

Her issues page supports school choice, curriculum access for parents, stronger teacher authority, medical freedom, informed consent, gun rights and greater resources for first responders and veterans. She advocates a larger executive-branch role in judicial selection and more accountability in government spending.

Terribile co-sponsored H.5073, signed May 18 and effective July 1, which bars public-school grading policies requiring grades above a student’s actual performance. She also co-sponsored the Student Physical Privacy Act, signed May 15, governing sex-designated facilities in public schools and public colleges.

On the Silfab facility near Flint Hill schools, her newsletter says she backed H.4293 to strengthen zoning transparency and worked with community advocates and officials. These are her stated actions and concerns.

Her campaign lists endorsements from Ralph Norman, Kevin Brackett, Wes Climer, Michael Johnson and Tony Breeden.
