Beth Black White is a nonpartisan candidate for York County Soil and Water District Commission in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. The South Carolina State Election Commission lists her as an active candidate.

Experience and conservation priorities

The South Carolina Association of Conservation Districts lists White as its secretary. In her biography there, she describes herself as a fourth-generation peach and strawberry farmer in York County.

White identifies land preservation and water conservation as priorities. She says her grandfather, Punk Black, was one of York County’s founding conservation commissioners and describes her service as continuing that work.

The association biography provides this account of her background and priorities but does not set out a detailed election platform.

Editor’s note: White did not return the Fort Mill-Tega Cay Times candidate questionnaire. This profile uses official election records and her conservation association biography.
