The Fort Mill Farmers & Artisans Market closes out its seventh season Saturday, Oct. 31, with a final morning of local produce and handmade goods at Veterans Park.
The market runs 9 a.m. to noon at 106 N. White St. in downtown Fort Mill.
The Town of Fort Mill has hosted the market every Saturday since May 9, according to the town's event page. Vendors have offered fresh, locally grown produce, farm products and handcrafted goods throughout the 26-week season.
This year's market introduced "Chef's Plate at the Market," a live cooking demonstration series featuring local chefs preparing dishes with ingredients sourced from vendors on site. The series, along with gardening tips, vendor demonstrations and hands-on tutorials, has been part of the weekly lineup, according to the town's listing.
Discover Fort Mill reported at the season's start in May that the market also features music, coffee, rotating vendors and yard games. Kids have had the chance to participate in free Pioneer Crafts sessions hosted by the Fort Mill History Museum on select Saturdays.
Saturday's market falls on Halloween, and the town's social media post promoting the finale referenced "fall fun" alongside the usual vendor offerings. The town has not detailed any Halloween-specific programming for the final day.
A return date for the 2027 season has not been announced. Vendor applications for the current season are closed, according to the town's website.
